I saw that there was going to be a tracking class in Austin and was really excited to go, but when i went back to your website it wasn't there anymore. It says you will be working in NM March and April. I hope it wasn't cancelled...if it was i guess I'll have to find one in NM. Hope this finds you well.

Hello. We just found your website on Tom Elpel's primitive school link. We are a couple from AZ in town for the holidays. We will be moving to NM shortly and are interested in learning more about The Tracking Project. We would like to join you down at Bosque Del Apache next week if you have space. We have solid backgrounds in field biology, outdoor education/wilderness therapy and primitive technology. We would love to connect and meet you guys! Hope to hear from you soon. Happy Holidays and Blessings to all. Kim Score Chris Moeller

Hi there!! I saw your bumper sticker on a car and was curious, so I looked you up and now I am more curious! I live in Santa Fe and I would love to come and check you guys out, maybe offer a helping hand. I am studying Polarity Therapy at the N.M. Academy of Healing Arts, so I don't know if this is of any interest to you, but I would be glad to offer my services in that way or in whatever way you need help. I'm actually from Australia, so your connection with Down Under was also of interest to me as I want to go home for a time next year. Anyways, I guess my two main questions are what help do you need, and how do I find you?

Hello, I've participated on the Project tree times in Brazil, São Paulo. Now I want to buy a Didgeridoo for myself. I'm living in Paris at the moment and I've seen many to sell! I want to know if you would have some advice for me and if you have any contacts with teachers! Thank you for your attention! Love your work ;)

I guess this is your contact info. Well , anyways, I had the chance to take your week long course @Omega a few years back when I was on staff there. I was really fun. Currently I am an Independant Degree Student (BA Program) in Social Ecology (see social-ecology.org) Each semester I get to seek out my own instructors based on what I want to learn and how it pertains to my degree. I am seeking the John as a teacher. The fee is a modest $400 that goes to a qualified instructor of my choosing and Burlington College's O.K. I know you have the credentials as a teacher and was wondering if you would be interested in working with me. The time commitment on your part is very small usually via e mail or phone once a week. My current two instructors are very busy traveling and lecturing, and it doesn't seem to get in their way to check in with me. Basically if you check the Institute for Social Ecology website, they have an online library so you can get the feel for their idealogy. I want to tie what the Tracking Project teaches with Peter Kropotkins writings on Mutual Aid ( see http://dwardmac.pitzer.edu/Anarchist_Archives/kropotkin/mutaidcontents.html ) My time frame is kinda open. IDP semesters run from DEC-APR and MAY -OCT . So if not this coming spring then perhaps in the future ( I am in my first semester and have 3 more after April to graduate) You can contact me via e mail avengingbeauty@go.com or thenovembergroup@riseup.net. Thanks for reading and I will await your response. -xtian PS Thank you for turning me on to Paulo Friere.

It's good to see you again John (your picture anyway). I've heard it said that a picture is worth a thousand words; the folks that know you know that meeting you in person comes with a thousand words. E-mail is relatively new to me yet. Im married now and living in Sacramento, CA. I just hired on as a case manger working with newly "unhomeless folks". I hope that you and your family are doing well. Your children must be like 12 and 7 yrs. old now. It does my heart good to see that you are still doing The Tracking Project. Maybe we'll catch up with each other sometime. Stay healthy, and hold on to your hair.

Hello friends and staff of the Tracking Project, John, Nancy, Jade, Kainoa, and India-- We are happy and healthy here in Manaus. Just a couple of days ago, Saul, Feliciano and I went hiking through the rainforest and went swimming in a delicious, cold stream--one of our favorite places!! We heard and saw lots of different birds. I thought of you guys a lot. I hope all is well. Sending lots of aloha from the heart of the Amazon-- Caroline

The other day i received a mail from you and i had good memories from the time we spent together there... now I live in South Dakota-US, so its probably a little harder to meet you again but if i could i think i would do that again. Thanks John( I don't think you remember me, but i still have our group picture with you!!) cya

Hi there John and staff, I am a graduate of Tom Brown's Tracker School (standard class) living in Queensland, Australia. I am looking for a way to develop my tracking and nature awareness/survival skills, and preferably (but not necassarily) get paid at the same time! I will certainly follow up on the internet those mentioned on your website; the tracker Jimmy James, and Kevin O'Loughlin in Adelaide. Any other advice or contacts you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot. Metakweasin. Ian McElhinney Lot 4 Crystal Waters 65 Kilcoy Lane Conondale QLD 4552 Australia
